AV works hard to understand its context and improve its supply chain by collaborating artisanal producers to identify re-claimed/cycled materials for fabrics and buttons, using organic packaging, and donating a section of profits to sea-related environmental NGOs. We try to keep production small and hand made, and were fortunate enough to recently have the ELLE Young Talents Awards for “Fashion Innovation”, because of this focus
NEW ECONYL FABRICS & RECYCLED DETAILS
This year we introduced new recycled fabrics, from ECONYL®, a 100% regenerated nylon made from abandoned fishing nets and nylon waste from landfills and oceans around the world.
We partnered up with Yago Eco Accessories to create bespoke details only for AV swimwear, from recycled plastic bags!

Amalia Vrana is a trained architect who has been living and working in London for the past few years. Fashion has always been a passion for her and so she attended a fashion design course at Central Saint Martins, which marked the starting point for her first collection, SunDream.
